The Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is the oldest interdisciplinary environmental research institute in the Netherlands and one of the world’s leading institutes in sustainability science. With 100 faculty members, PhD students and post-doctoral fellows, IVM has been rated with the highest scores on scientific excellence. Each year the Institute hosts more than 140 MSc students and 50 PhD students.

Role in the project

IVM will lead WP6 in EDC-NAFLD which focuses on the identification of pathways to impact through socioeconomic and cultural patient risk profiling and public risk attitudes towards mechanisms-of-action to eliminate EDCs from EU markets.
