The Saarland University Hospital (UKS) in Homburg offers internationally networked cutting-edge research. Numerous national and EU grants emphasise the position that Saarland University Medicine occupies. Our internationally recognised research forms the theoretical basis for future diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. In the commitment to training new generations of doctors and scientists, numerous jobs are created for the next generation of national and international researchers in the context of this research work. The aim of this basic research is to constantly expand our knowledge of the development of diseases and their effects – in Homburg, research is also being carried out for your health.
