Örebro University is a prominent broad-based university offering strong professional degree programmes and conducting research that spans no less than 36 subjects across all disciplines. We have gathered leading-edge expertise within three areas: AI and robotics, Food and health, and Pollutants and society. Within these profile areas, researchers come together across disciplines to broaden perspectives within education, research, and collaboration, ultimately leading towards a knowledge-driven society. Project Coordinator
The theme of ‘Pollutants and Society’, where chemical safety and health impacts of chemicals in generalis one of the three profile areas of the Örebro University. This profile is led by Prof. Hyötyläinen and includes Prof. Orešič as a member of the core group. Partner ORU contributes to the consortium with state-of-the art methods for exposomics (analyses of environmental chemicals) and metabolomics(including lipidomics), which has been used in many clinical studies.
