On 11 July 2026, the STRIMHealth team participated in Science Day, organised by the Center for Scientific Research of Students of the Belgrade Faculty of Biology, CNIRS BF, at the Jevremovac Botanical Garden in Belgrade.
The activity highlighted the ongoing collaboration between EDC-MASLD and STRIMHealth, two EU-funded research projects addressing metabolic health and liver disease.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about both projects, as well as LiverDophilus, a probiotic supplement developed to support liver health.
Through interactive discussions, the team raised awareness of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, or MASLD, obesity, and type 2 diabetes. The discussions also covered the importance of prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and scientific research in addressing these public health challenges.
