On September 8th 2025, the EDC-MASLD project was featured in the Yellow Webinar Series organised by the Italian Liver Foundation.
Dr. Stefania Carobbio, Principal Investigator at the Príncipe Felipe Research Center (CIPF) – our work package partner in the EDC-MASLD consortium, delivered a presentation titled “Effect of EDCs in the Progression of MASLD.”
The webinar introduced the project and consortium, provided background on Metabolic dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) and Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs), and shared preliminary findings from the mouse study.
The session highlighted how environmental exposures may contribute to liver disease progression and how EDC-MASLD advances understanding of these mechanisms through collaborative, multidisciplinary research.
