The EDC-MASLD project hosted its first face-to-face kickoff meeting on April 18th and 19th, 2024, at the Örebro University in Sweden.
The two day event broght together reserachers and work package partners from across Europe to engage in productive discussions and outline the project’s ambitious goals.
During the meeting, partners discussed their work plans to ensure alignment of objectives and foster a collaborative environment. Participants shared insights, reviewed project milestones, and engaged in strategic plans to address how endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) contribute to the progression of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
The kickoff meeting provided an excellent opportunity to establish collaborative strategies and set the stage for impactful research.
