Dr. You Song is currently working as a Senior Research Scientist at NIVA. He is an experienced researcher and principal investigator in experimental and computational toxicology, molecular and cell biology, toxicogenomics and next generation risk assessment (NGRA). He has been actively involved in the development and application of alternative approaches to animal testing since 2007, and OECD’s Adverse Outcome Pathway (AOP) program since 2013. Dr. Song is a recognized AOP development coach and a member of the Thyroid Method Expert Group (TMEG) at the OECD. His recent research focuses on how new approach methodologies (NAMs) and quantitative AOPs (qAOP) can be better aligned to support risk assessment of chemicals.
