Maike Hentges (female), MSc, is a researcher at empirica in the fields of digital health, public health, health policy and health systems research. She has background in European Public Health (BSc) at Maastricht University and Global Health (MSc) at Karolinska Institutet. Her work primarily focuses on quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary research, including survey design, expert interviews, and evidence-based strategy analyses. She is currently involved in the DigitalHealthUptake (DHU) project under the Digital Europe programme to increase the uptake of digital technologies, as well as in the EarlyCause project, where she focuses on impact assessment and the development of new prevention and treatment strategies for multimorbidity relating to early life stress. She is also active in a European capacity-building initiative for strengthening the primary use of health data, where she supports knowledge exchange between national health authorities.
