The Foundation Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale and the IHU ICAN formalised a four-year partnerhsip in support of the EDC-MASLD project on the 4 December, 2025 at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris.
The funding covers a liver-dedicated MRI imageing module and MRI image ayquistion. This allows liver lesions to be monitored over time without biopsy.
EDC-MASLD studies how endocrine disruptors (plastic, cosmetics, pesticides) contribute to the onset and progression of MSALD, combining clinicl, biological and image data from European cohort of over 9,000 patients.
